Pre-Clinical Ball

Pre-clinical Ball is an annual end of year event held courtesy of the Pre-Clinical Associate Dean where by she/he recognizes, appreciates and rewards outstanding work performance in all the three Pre-Clinical Departments of Medical Physiology, Human Anatomy and Biochemistry in partnership with the chairmen from these respective Departments. She/he evaluates performance by members of the academic staff, Technical and administrative staff, support staff and students. This year’s event was held at Emory Hotel Kileleshwa and was hailed as one of its kind.

From UoN to World Medical Association in France

Nyambura Muroki, a 3rd year medical student at the University of Nairobi School of Medicine was recently offered internship at the World Medical Association (WMA) at their Headquarters in Ferney-Voltaire, France.

She will be part of the WMA delegation to the WHO Executive Board Meeting during her internship.

IBRO SCHOOL, the 1st of its kind in tunisia attended by Pro. Nilesh Patel, UoN (Kenya)

This was the 1st joined ISN/IBRO Neuroscience School in Tunisia: : From basic brain functions to neurodegenerative diseases which was held in the  Faculty of Sciences of Sfax,  from November 24th  to December 1st , 2019. In attendance as a faculty member was Prof. Nilesh Patel from the Department of Medical Physiology, University of Nairobi, College of Health Sciences
